Dr. Joshua Gogo is an economist, investment professional, engineer, entrepreneur, author, and institutional strategist whose work focuses on the intersection of finance, innovation, governance, and economic development. With professional experience spanning four continents and nine countries, he has advised governments, businesses, investors, and family enterprises on economic strategy, investment, institutional resilience, and long-term value creation. He is the Founder and President of Afcote Associates, an economics, strategy, and risk advisory firm, and the Founder of Afcote Investment Management, a private investment and family office advisory platform.
He is also the founder of GEUTech Autonomous Data and Intelligent Control Systems, reflecting his commitment to applying technology and innovation to practical business and industrial challenges. Dr. Gogo’s research explores political economy, institutional quality, investment risk, conflict, and sustainable capital formation. He is the author of Resource, Region, and Ruin: Understanding Conflict in Resource States, Political Economy of Violence: Allocation, Power and the Logic of Conflict , and On the Road to Success: Understanding Success, Maturity and the Four Pillars.
